I've done a couple at 2x, but when I play them back they get artifacts at certain points of the movie, and I can't jump to a specific time (it just freezes and I have to restart).

Does it make that much difference? If the speed isn't concern to me, is it worth me sticking to 1x?

i burn at 1x they all work 100% i copied 1 at 2x onto a verbatim dvdr and it work 100% but 1x is the best i use white label dvdrs now they only copy at 1x but for £125 thats good

I cannot get ne to work at 2x but all that i burn at 1x work perfectly fine

Writing at 1x All ok. Have tested 2x and that was ok on verbatamin discs..
