i just got my xbox today in the mail with a Xio mod chip in it. I played a couple backups on it and after about 30 minutes it froze and crashed, now it will not load any of my cds, backups or originals, can anyone help me?

Check if any wire's loose in your xbox.. Or call your installer about it/..

Well, he says that he still gets his boot screen, so the wires are in tact. I think there is just something wrong with the DVD ROM drive.

Yeah or it could have got hot, esp if its in a entertainment center or on a rug.
unplug from wall for a full minute, not ten seconds & see what it does.
