You will require an xbox DVD remote before you can play movies on them though which costs around £30 mymaxis911 Jul 02, 2002, 10:11 PM Yes, dvd silvers work on a PS2 but playing NTSC dvd silvers on a PAL dvd will out a distorted picture unless you have installed a RGB fix mod chip available from Gamefreax. SpookynessUK Jul 03, 2002, 02:14 AM m8, I have played several DVD Silvers R0 be it PAL/NTSc as long as your TV supports NTSC it will be fine Im not sure what mymaxis911 means about a distorted picture, the only thing i can think he means is if you are using an RGB lead then you will get the the green screen effect unless you use something like the AR V2.2 or have a mod chip installed that enables the RGB output.
