i installed my enigmah chip on the weekend and re-installed motherboard cdrom hard drive etc, plugged it in and it worked fine, booted up to the dash board etc as normal. I then replaced the cover and tried it again and still worked fine. I then put it back next to the tv and it didnt work. when you turn the power on the system does the usual start fan check for disk etc routine but it then freezes and stands on idle with the open/eject button flashing green, orange, green, orange etc. at no time does the system boot up and send a signal to the tv but it does idle with the button flashing.

any ideas?

Help apreciated

Green orange indicates that your A/V plug isn't connected. Make sure its plugged in tight.

There is a list of the light indcator interpretation somwhere.

Green/Red = no bios found. Ex. You pulled a solder pad off the board.

Green/Orange = no a/v pack. If I power up my box with the AV unplugged I get this.

Green/off/Green/off/Green = bad/missing connection(s) to the mod chip.

Hope this helps

Handyguy - not too handy, needed help not sarcasm (dont have manual hence the question)

Thanks Springfield_PD it turns out my av plug is a little dodgy but if i hold it in it works fine so i guess it was a sucessful install.
I realy appreciate the help i was about ready to take a hammer to the damn thing !
