Just purchased an external Polaroid Burnmax24Ex with nti software at a bargain price. Burned A few music cd's with no problems playing on computer or home audio player but when playing in car it starts off playing fine but half way through the cd as it automatically or I manually switch tracks it stops responding and constantly tries to search for the next track. I tried two diferent cd-r's and even tried another software program with no better results , thought maybe a heat related problem since cd seems to be very warm but other cd's play with no problems ......

Its yr car cd player m8, not fully cdr/w compatible.

Other than that try different brand media, or write the audio onto the cd at 4x or 8x or even 2x to see if that makes a difference.

Also make sure if your burning from mp3s, to make sure that the actual source mp3 is ok.

Doubt it would be a heat problem, the cds are warmish when I burn a cd.

Would recomend that you download Ahead Nero www.nero.com good program for creating audio cds etc..
