Yes. Although SVCD res is not part of the DVD spec, so you may have problems with some players.

There is a good tutorial for doing doing this at www.vcdhelper.com but if you want a proper complaint DVD you need to convert the video file in TMPenc or similiar and it takes ages.

hey. I completly 4got about this topic!

The reason i ask is coz i dl a lot of SVCD movies and there only like 1-2gigs and a dvd-r can hold much more then that. I dont relly want to convert my own movies as i have done that b4 and it does take 4ever.
