Is the Yamaha cd burner compatible with the cd-r win software? Any feedback appreciated. Thanks!

Umm... we can't help you without the model number. Anyways, go to www.goldenhawk.com and go to the "supported devices" section. If your burner model is in there, it is compatable. If its not there, then its not compatable, and you are SOL.

I said this in a previous post.. but I'll say it again..if all you want to do is burn *.bin files just use NERO..

I dunno if the problem still exists, but older versions of nero were known to mess up multi-track bin files. Part of the second track was messed up. This can cause seeking problems on vcd's and svcd's. CDRWin is designed to burn only bin and cue so this problem never occurred on CDRWin's burned (S)VCD's
