I got two pc with a 24x TDK burner, Win Xp, 56X cdrom, and Nero 5.80

=>I tried burning at 24x, 20x, 16x, 12x and it all come out 10 to 14 min to dupe a cd on the fly.
=>I tried TDK, Memorex, and Imation CDRs.
=>Updated my aspi to 4.60 already
=>Disabled screensaver, power management, Auto insertion, and as many program as possible running in background
=>Checked Jumper settings/ IDE cables (TDK Burner is Master)

Spec of pc 1:
XP 1800 cpu 1.5 ghz w/ 768 Mushkin DDR Rams w/ 180 GB HD space (2 HD)

Spec of pc 2:
P3 500 mhz w/ 512 kingston SDRAM w/ 100 GB HD space (1 HD)

Any suggestion is highly appreciated.
My friend finishes a cd in 4-6 minutes with TDK burner burning at 20x speed.

Something to do with the buffer, I think
I remember, When I had 98 on it, it took me 15 minutes on 24x, the buffer was around 40% only...
You can try to enable DMA too.

Oh yeah, I forgot..
I changed from pio to DMA enabled for all PRIMARY and SECONDARY devices.

STill no luck.

Also, the amount of memory that I set for NERO to use as ram buffer is
80 MB, That's the max.
