Im going to be scanning a photograph and printing it back off on photo paper as i just need to make one copy but what setting should i have on the scanner as it can go up to 19200dpi.

Its not worth going above 600dpi as the file gets too big with very little increase in quality.

Go as high as your printer can print at.

scan @ the same res as ur printer output if you dont intend to enlarge the photo.
