i hope someone can help

i noticed my v4 neo 2.2 ps2 dont load any backups now
well i took it apart to check the wires

and noticed 1 wire was off on pin 2

well i cant solder it back on as the silver part on the begining of the resistor has come off so i aint got nothink to solder to

aslo tryed soldeering it to the black resister further on but my ps2 will boot origanals but not backups??

so what would be my best bet to do???

and would the ps2 boot if the resister was gone (no contact as silver come off)

if you follow the track along from that resistor you will cross a solder pad (similar to the two that are down and right of the original solder point #2 in the pic). I've got mine solder there are everything works

ah ha. i had exactly the same problem yesterday. you need to get some solder back on the surface mount. this could be tricky!! try using a flux pen on the joint then quickly tin the end. if that fails you could always try removing it and measuring it then getting a new one to solder in. but yes you could follow the track and solder to the next surface mount as long as it is the nearest point to the fkced surface mount.
