Hi
Just wanna get my first digital camera, and looking for advice what to get. Basically I'll only be using my camera to take pics whilst out with my mates etc, and at concerts and stuff like that. I wont be printing the images out, just emailing and putting them up on the web etc..
Not looking to spend TOO much money, so anyone got any advice to what I should geT?
I'm in the uk, so any recommendations where to buy from as well?

becareful with some of the cheap ones based on the quickpix design (l'espion,l'elite, logiteck pen cam etc) they won't take pictures in the dark and anything below sunlight comes out at a lower res (fills in every other pixel with white). Also when there is a bright light like taking a picture of the stage at a concert from the crowd will show the stage as just a bright white blob. However the are all under £50 so you wouldn't screw 2bad when you get drunk and forget it in the cab ;D

go for about a 1.3 mpixel minimum, the fuji a101 is well regarded, it's about £130.
i've got a minolta e203 2.3 mpixel paid £154 inc from jungle good camera though

That is a good camera for the price. Is has good features and is upgradable on the memory but make sure you get rechargable batteries because it will suck them dry fast.
