Does video games mess up your T.V....where can i get a good T.V that works well with video games and won't mess up?

i don't think video games messes up your t.v. i been playing constantly with my xbox and ps2 for over 200 hours on an old t.v. i had for 7 years, and it is still working well.

I think video games can be a problem only on projection TV's or something (thats what the console manuals say anyways). Repeated colors/pattern can burn an image onto the screen kinda like a computer screen i guess

Its when there is a still image on a Projection TV you run the risk of having the image burnt for example the MTV logo on the top right of your screen or leaving a video game paused for long periods of time.

Most Projection TV's these days work fine with Consoles providing u do what the manual says. Its the old ones from back in the dark ages you need to worry about.

Normal TV's are fine for Video Games!!

I don't think they do, buy my mom thinks they kill the TV, she doesn't want me to hook it up to the big screen TV, as she thinks it will blow up or something.
