i am looking to buy a dvd player that is region free and has progressive scan. does anyone know of any good models that fits this description? let me know...sloshbusiness2@hotmail.com.

have a look at this for £130 (£110 for one without dolby digital decoder) - if u look on other sites, it does say that it is progressive scan, a couple of ppl here at my work have bought one of these thru this website and they are extremly happy with it:
