Springfield_PD Jul 11, 2002, 12:00 AM extact the iso, delete the demos. If that gets you under the limit good. Otherwise start removing or downsampling fmv. When you got it small enough just burn it in UDF bridge mode or make an ISO and burn that. Or just do like I did and get evo-X and play those games from the xbox HD. dvdr mania Jul 11, 2002, 04:17 AM or just wait until you've bought a dvd burner. It really gets on my nerves when people want to rip contents out of games !!!! Cal_G_UK Jul 11, 2002, 05:03 AM After you have downsampled the FMV and removed the extra demos you still need to relink stuff so it doesnt start looking for stuff thats not there. Thats propably the hardest part. Just a thought but why didnt you go for the CD versions or rips instead of the full DVD? Also as suggested above, you cant go wrong playing it from the hard drive, it runs sweet, at the moment i have 7 games, n64 emulator + games, divx player, 3 divx films all on the hard drive, its great not having to look around for CD's/DVD's Peace mate Cal_G Arsenal02Champs Jul 11, 2002, 07:33 AM Cal_G_UK what games have you got on your hard drive to be able to fit 7 games on there????? Teach me the skill of downsampling! Thanks Matt Cal_G_UK Jul 11, 2002, 07:41 AM Originally posted by Arsenal02Champs Cal_G_UK what games have you got on your hard drive to be able to fit 7 games on there????? Well they are all Cd version games, small ones like simpsons road rage, shrek and the like I made a multi game disk the other day with 7 games on it, most work sweet but DOA3 (rip) takes years to load because all of its files are on the root of the disk, no folders at all, when making multi game disks there are that many files there some games just take ages to find the files they are looking for, thats why i put them on the hard drive, boot up much quicker. If you stick to smallish games you will be sorted. Halo had to go because it was something like 3 gig, i could put more than 4 rips in its place. As for downsampling, dont bother, its more hassle that its worth. Just either get the rip or put the full dvd on the hard drive. peace mate Cal_G handyguy Jul 12, 2002, 10:47 AM Do you have to do something about the dvd checks?
