ok i got problems with princos dvdrs the last game i bought (jet set radio) was freezing often as i played the stages so am thinking if i replaced the dvdrom of xbox with a pioneer for example would the princos or even bulk dvdrs played flawlessly (no freezing,booting 100%).also if i replace the dvdrom the case could still fit in the xbox?

you can replace the dvd rom, serch the forum, theres loads of posts about it, but you cant fit the new drive in the xbox cause you have to have both the xbox and new dvd roms connected at the same time....

Wrong deniro , you can replace the xbox drive with a pc dvd rom and leave it in on its own & bin the worthless xbox drive !

I saw a tutorial on it last night , looks quite simple !

Only downside of having it in on its own is that originals cant be played !?

Not Only the dvd wouldn't fit, you wouldn't be able to run Your Jet Set radio and all other xbox games. Because, the new dvd drive wouldn't be able to read xbox games, only backups! :laugh:
