Bill Cosby Jul 11, 2002, 01:59 PM Ok windows me regognizes the partitions put on xp it changed to one drive and when I try to access it, it says do you want to format or it isn't formated can someone help I have a bunch of stuff I need and don't want to downgrade to me again. When you made the partition, did you make a extended partition and logical drive w/ in the extended partition? Bill Cosby Jul 11, 2002, 09:16 PM i didnt make the partitions the guy i got it from did me picks them up but xp dosent. OuTcAst Jul 12, 2002, 10:41 AM when you upgraded to ME did you convert the file system to NTFS? If you did the other partition that you cant see might still be in FAT32. That could be a reason y your not seeing that partition. Use fdisk to see what kind of file system your partitions are.
