Ok I would like to use internet sharing between my laptop and PC I was just wondering if you could just buy a Hub to plug both modems into and the have it go off to the phone line.

If this is possible where do I get the hub?

Cheers

You dun really need a hub, just a network adaptor on both computer, then use a crossover cable (if you are using a modem).

It's pretty simple actually.
I'd have the PC share the internet and the laptop connect to the internet via LAN with a crossover cable. If you are ever going to get more than two computers, get a hub with regular ethernet cables...

When you enable ICS (internet connection sharing) on the PC, it will creat a disk... Put it in the laptop and run the file....
Restart both computers and you're in business...
If it doesn't work, email me, and i'll walk you thru how to enter masks and ip addresses etc... manually.

Only trouble with that is if I have my laptop connecting it will be slower because its not a 56k modem :(

don't share a 28.8 modem.... I assume you have a 56k modem in the PC - SHARE THAT MODEM. Enable ICS from the big PC.
If you don't have a modem, get on. I recommend a US robotics hardware modem...
I had 3 other modems that weren't hardware... They were cheap to buy but unless you have a PERFECT phone line - they'll disconnect every 5 seconds...
US Robotics never disconnects.. Costs twice as much :) but worth it :)
