I read on post that with this game on safedisc 2 you should have the "amplify weak sector" box checked. When I run clone cd, though, the option does not appear. Even in the clonecd help file it shows this option, but it does not appear on my version.... or is it perhaps my writer?, but if that's the case why not just show it greyed out.

Am I doing anything wrong? If I can't get it to appear what can I do to get copy working. I was able to make copy that was good for install, it just wont recognize disk on start up.

Probably because you are in the US. That particular option is disabled there.

With your drive you will need to use something like that. You could run the image through betablocker (must be the updated version that can handle SD v2.51.xx) or try CD Mate or BlindWrite if they don't have their features also disabled in the US.

Also you can change your region settings to something other than US or Jap to enable AWS.

But alas, boo hoo. No working copy. I'm on coaster#3 now. I tried it with AWS enabled. I tried it through betablocker ( and it did amplify the sectors), and I thought it was a go, but still will not read cd on start up.

Any help would be appreciated.... It's not so much the backup now, both cd's can be used to play the game so you have a backup kind of anyway-- now it's just a question of being able to do it.

Any other settings I need to check out, and is there a later version of betablocker.... if its ok to ask.

Well, the game being protected with SD v2.51.xx your copy may not work on some drives. I'm pretty sure I made a copy of that with a Plextor 1210S using BetaBlocker and it worked in every drive that I tried, except my brother's sony CDRom(Note in order to work in a CDRW drive you need to have something like Clone CD's Hide CDR enabled.).. Also made a copy with an Acer 1208 without betablocker or anything and it worked in all drives except once again in the Sony. Made a copy with a Lite-on 40125W and it works in all drives.

I don't know what version of betablocker you are using, so I can't tell you if it is the latest.
