Hi All, I have a PS2 with a Neo 4 Installed. The PS2 is located in my sons room connected to a portable 14" tv which displays US games in Black & White, Is there anyway of correcting this without buying a new Ntsc compatible tv?
I have heard of soldering 2 points but trying to locate further info on this is near on impossible.
Any help would be appreciated, and if possible, diagrams to help.
The PS2 is a V4 model.
Thanks again

Hi M8, Yes it is wired with the scart cable that was supplied (actually 2 audio phonos / 1 video phone connected to the scart adapter).
Thanks.

no m8 to get it full colour you need direct scart cable not the one that comes with the ps2. that is a scart adapter.

I bought an RGB scart lead to try and solve this problem but it did not work. So the lead is not the full answer to this problem !

Hi All, Well I can confirm that 'Snoppy007's info & diagrams solved the problem 100%.I followed the diagram and soldered the 2 pins as illustrated.Put the PS2 back together and tried 30+ Ntsc games which used to play in Black & White & hey presto, full colour.
I also treid 5 Region 1 Ntsc dvds and these where also in colour.
Anybody who has the same problem, look at the post above from 'Snoopy007' and follow the link.
May I say a big cheers to Snoopy007 for his help.
