i backed up my original copy of dungeon siege. it installs fine and plays fine, but my map screen is just black. all over. i can see the names of the items laying on the ground. the names show on the map, but thats all it shows. have anyone else had this problem, or am i the only one? i have tried turning all the details up and down, but nothing happens. i have also tried changing the resolutin of the monitor down to 600x486 and have tried it up to 1024, but nothing. help a.s.a.p.

Have you tried reinstalling? Also, since you say you backed up your original, if reinstalling from the backup doesn't work, reinstall from the original. If you keep having problems, and you seem to not have them before, get another "backup."
