i was wondering if i can put a ps2 cdr game on dvd-r media?

the reason i ask this is if a person has the r-mod and it can only handle cdr media under 71 minutes, and dvd-r's (as long as the original dvd has a larger toc). why not burn all games on dvd-r? its a little pricey, but less hassle.

can that be done?

Though I have not tried it myself, as you said it is pricey, it should work. The game may not be read as fast though since you have all that blank space. Also, it's really not worth it... just get a better modchip. If you want a better chip and need it installed drop me al ine at Supleh3@knology.net

the cd-r games on a DVD-r with a menu would be cool, but if u r gonna go to the hassle of putting a dvd-ripped game onto a dvd-r then why not just buy the dvd-r full copy?

Thats exactly what I was thinking. To me, it seems like a waste. Until DVD-R media comes down to cd-r cheapness (pricewise) then I would suggest against it.

If your mod wont work, then swap, or do a knife trick
