The problem is... when I try to defrag my PC it says that I can coz of errors in my hardisk - use ScanDisk.

When I try to use ScanDisk it says 2 files are running at the same time or some **** like that?

Anywas, when I click to restart ScanDisk my PC hangs???

Any ideas?????

Try running scandisk in safe mode.

Then after scandisk has completed, run defrag.

Try replacing Scandisk with Speed Disk from Norton Utilities suite. It's faster and generally better. That suite has and another very important features, necessary on a modern PC.

Been using Norton Systemworks 2002 for a couple of weeks and it has to be the most useful tool ever. It has found numerous problems with my PC and fixed them all, even though i thought it was running fine!
