i got a question, I bought ps2 CDRs off from this guy, but some of his backups such as spiderman, time splitter, etc takes forever to load and some won't even load at all. So my question is it maybe the CDR Media, the speed that the dude is burning, or is it because it's a RIP from the dvd that's causing the forever loading time. I will be glad if someone can help. thanks.

The loading time are not affected by if it's a dvd rip or not. It's prabally the media and the burn time. What media is it on?

Silver are poor quality. It can also be that he burned at a high speed. Thats why your getting long load times.

Crappy media's most likely the key. Ask him for replacements on different media or burned at a slower speed, but that's not the real reason I'm posting. Just wanted to say Nice car ;)

I just recently had that exact same problem and I had to reburn every disc I bought off this guy with cdrwin at 2x and finally got them all to work. The guy said he burnt them at 16x which is way too high in my experience.:D

yea don't use silvers they suck. and over time they start to peel on it's own. so stay away from those. any other branded media should be fine.
