PLATUTIL.DLL
QUARTZ.DLL
SNDCORE.DLL
TAHOMA.TTF

this is what the read me says

Take everything here (including the WinCE directory) and burn it to a
disc along with the movie(s) that you want. You can have the movies
anywhere on the disc (including in subdirectories) and GypPlay will
find and play them. They must have one of the following extensions:

.mpg (MPEG-1 only)
.mpeg (MPEG-1 only)
.dat (MPEG-1 only)
.avi (no odd codecs!)
.m1v (MPEG-1 video, no audio)
.asf (no odd codecs! MPEG-4/DivX is NOT supported!)
.sfd (v1.01 SFD format works, but no audio. Newer SFDs not supported.)

Burn them to disc with these options: ISO Level 2, Mode 1 (CDROM only,
not XA), Joliet filesystem. Boot the Utopia boot disc, then swap in
your CDR.

Thanks please help

CDI=DiskJuggler CD image file (Windows)

To extract the CDI under the MacOS, you'll have to find the instructions. They used to be here on the board, but since the move, I'm not sure where they are. I haven't done that in a while, since I burn them under Softwindows, but it's somewhat complicated. There are others here that can give you better up-to-date step-by-steps on how to do it.

"DCVCD", IMO, is a waste of time. The MPEGs have to be in just the right format, booting then viewing with the Dreamcast player is a hassle, and I found the quality not to be fantastic. I get a far smoother movie if I just play it on the Mac while recording to a VCR or outputting to the TV directly. If you have a video card with video out or an old mac with this built in (I never forgave Apple for removing this!), I strongly suggest doing that instead.
Maybe my experience isn't representative, so you should look for someone else's advice.

Otherwise, I don't know what your question is about it, since you just quoted the instructions. The tricky part is turning your movie into an MPEG-1. I seem to recall using VCDGear and "converting" it from mpg to mpg, somehow making it work. It's been a long time. Oh, and I remember using NeroMax after it came out to do the burning - I don't remember what the problem with Toast was. I'm sure someone else has better tips. :uhwell:
