V4 - 1B - NTSC - Gap Bios

I self-fitted the Messiah into my PS2. The PS2 originals and backups boot everytime. DVD originals also boot fine (don't have dvdr to check). However, PSX originals and backups will not boot at all. I've tried every reset button tap method I found on the boards, all with the same result. The Sony Entertainment screen comes up then disappears as if the game is going to load. Then nothing, the screen stays black forever.

Which points on the MESSIAH control the PSX?

Could it be the SCEX? FYI...I used slightly larger wire for the SCEX, 3.5V, and GND

I also need to know if there's an alternate solder point for the SCEX?

Time for a pint, all this thinking is making me go blind.

Thanks in advance!!!!

Did you ask the people you bought the chip from?

They were so cheap they didn't even supply me with instructions or a website. I followed the instructions on China-messiah.com
