Ive tried copying a cloned Backup of The Sims.

wasting discs at the moment.

Used Clony XXl and it says the disc is Safedisc alt.

I can get the game to boot by using Daemon tools to load cd image, but when i put the image to disc i get insert correct cd-rom message.

any help appreciated, an di have read the other topics on the sims and can't solve the problem.

Weird... For writing you must write in RAW DAO or RAW SAO. Always close last session is the only other option that needs to be enabled.

I assume that when you tested the image with daemon-tools you disabled any safedisc emulation??

yes, safedisc emaulation is not on.
