Alright here is my neo 2.2 problem, I have a V1 US PS2 w/ Neo 2.2 and GS 2,
The PS2 Works, Audio CD works, DVD Movies work, PSX Games Work, PSX Copys Works, The first day I got it modded , it played ps2 backups good, Now it wont boot PS2 DVD's Or PS2 CD's, it boots the Gameshark but it wont boot backups, they spin feverishly but nothing happens, than I tryed my tekken 4 that is patched with trainers, I loaded that, that works up to the trainers, than when it comes to the Screen right before the title screen the disc starts spinning feverishly and nothing happens.... any thoughts?

sounds like a botched solder job, can you go over your connections again.

I checked the connections, look great, I tried a different bootmethod after browsing these forums, and it boots up Tekken 4 :-D

what about the others you were having problems with?

I think that swap trick resolved it all lol
