Is there any way of ripping all the junk out of the gs lite disk and reburn for use? I hate that annoyingly long beginning video and all that stuff that advertisements.

hmmm... I think so, cause I d/l a version off the net that had the videos taken out. You can probably find it floating around on the net somewhere. I think the filename was just like gslite.zip or something. I cant remember for sure, so I will look around for you and see if I can find a suitable link.

I couldn't find a decent link, so I put it on a yahoo briefcase account. It is legal to d/l this file as a backup as long as you own the original PSX GSLite.

It is a zip file, zo unzip and then you must burn the bin/cue with cdrwin or nero or fireburner or something :)

Oh yeah, the file isn't all that big, only ~1.33 MB.

just replace the videos with blank .str files - or edit the executable and re-link the movies to a blank screen movie

Thank you I am downloading the file now.
I tried that sep, replacing the videos with a short blank str file and I ended up with a coaster that boots up to the point where it searches for the video.. I guess I dotn know how to relink files...
