Smelt Fishy Jul 15, 2002, 11:54 PM I was just reading a review done on it, at ps2ownz and apparently the Version 4 Date Code 1C is compatible with the new chip. Has anyone tried it out yet? I have the 1C and want to get it chipped badly. Thanks! moddogs Jul 18, 2002, 12:03 PM It should be compatible as long as you have the 040 BIOS.
