Most cover sites have 1000's of covers, they therefor have a size cap on cover uploads. Your cover weighing in at 1.4mbs would be way over.

Whenever I scan a cover I scan at aleast 300dpi and save it using a lossless format such as TIF. The problem is who is going to pay for a server to host 1000's of 300dpi TIF images??

I did my own Blade2 cover, so I know that most of the images used in that cover were/are?? available at the blade2 site.

All the logos, etc. can be found around the place, also you can always convert them to vectors if they are not high res enough.

I use the old paint shop pro shareware version and I find that great you can cut and past different covers togther then delteinf and adding what you want but obvioulsy you need a scanner or you need to find high quality source images to start with as you can't make them better.
