Ok simple question. On my Temporary Internet Files folder, I have some hiden files that are concerning me. I have gone to tools/options/ and insured that ALL Files are being shown, even hidden files.

Yet when I go in the folder and delete all the files, then back out and right click/properties, it says there are still like 90 hidden files taking up about 22 megs...how can I get rid of these files?

I think that you're referring to cookies in Temporary Internet Files that will stay there unless you specifically delete them. Perhaps try using Ad-Aware (http://www.lavasoftusa.com/) to remove the spyware and still leave the cookies that you want to use.

No the cookies are being deleted. And spyware is being run every two days at that. I am 100% sure its not the cookies.

You need PurgeIE as in http://www.purgie.com - it's better than an army of bin men!

It's configurable too, so you can protect your cookies 'n stuff that you need, like the ones for this forum.

If you really want to clear the decks, set all those index.dat files to zero then use Spider - it works really well with PurgeIE.

Available here - http://www.fsm.nl/ward/
