sorry m8, but the title-set is to big :(
It must be 4.37gb or under to fit on a DVDR disc

you cant fit 4.52GB onto a 4.38Gb dvd.
Its like trying to fit a roll of carpet into a childs sock.

long.ian, this problem is down to what you, I, the media sellers and the OS and application writers think of as a Gigabyte.
A "4.7Gb" DVD-R is in fact 4,700,000,000 bytes, rather than a true 4.7Gb (where a Gb is 1024x1024x1024 bytes meaning a true 4.7Gb would equal 5,046,586,573 bytes), so this "4.7Gb" DVD-R actually only has about 4.38Gb truly available on it (ie: 4700000000 / 1024 / 1024 / 1024).
The manufacturers of DVD-Rs, and hard drives almost always use this 1000x1000x1000 calculation for a Gigabyte, as it makes their hard drives look bigger by about 7.3%...
Hope this helps you to understand a bit more! Took me a while to figure it out, too.
Cheers,
Rolf.
