I have a pioneer A03 DVD-RW drive with the latest firmware. I have two brands of CDRW media (Sony and Memorex) and the drive will not regonize either type of disks. When you put a cdrw in the drive with info on it the drive can read off it but cannot erase it. Also it cannot write to either cdrw if it is already blank. I have only tried it with nero and clone-cd. Does anyone else have this problem?

YES I HAVE THIS PROBLEM the drive is really fussy The disks MUST be 1-4 speed (4 -10 or high speed media as it is reffered to is not compatible) I have 4 cdrw 1 sony (works), 1 imitation (works), 1 unbranded 4 speed (doesn't work), 1 pioneer 2 speed (doesn't work). 3 of them are really old (3 years) but the imitation (in a red case) I bought last week from jacobs,£1 (photo store in uk) and this works on my drive
