I apologize if this is a real newbie question.
I need to brun a CD that will have two songs that can play in a regular CD player but I also need it to have an .avi file that will not be recognized by the player but could be played on the computer.
I am using Nero and have tried the Mixed Media opion and have made nothing but coasters with this option. I am new at this so please let me know if more info is required for help.
Thanks,
Vanian

In order for the CD player to recognize only the audio part, you'll need to burn CD Extra mode, not Mixed Mode CD. If your burner supports CD Text, you can enter info for both Audio & ISO parts as well.

CD Extra will create a 2-session CD where the 1st session contains the audio tracks and the 2nd contains the data. CD player will ignore the 2nd session and only plays the tracks in 1st session.

Thank you for the reply. Does the data file have to be in a folder or should it matter?

Thanks again!

Vanian,

You don't have to put it in a folder. Just do the CD-Extra and it will put the data in the second session and you will be fine.
