View Full Version : who can tell me what this 3dfx card is so I ca get a driver for it?

trying to install an 8 meg graphics card into a pc but cannot locate a driver for it..

numbers on the card are

1999 3dfx interactive inc

210-0380-001

its an agp card with 8 meg ram on board, its only got a monitor output

Well it's a 3DFX card! Voodoo series??

lol thanks caterman got the first bit sussed, just lookin on driver guide, its identifying the card thats the tricky bit, loads of stuff listed

Sorry m8, not taking the pi$$ honest, just made me smile thats all. :)
It might come down to downloading all the relevant drivers for your OS and trying them all in turn. Tedious and boring i know but it will give you a sense of self satisfaction when one of them works!
Or it could make you throw it through the window. LOL

when your pc boots up the video card should be identified at the top of the screen for a second or two. also does the card fit a pci slot or agp?

what are the numbers on the 3dfx chip itself? also any fic number on the card?

Sorted, thanks guys, did as you suggested caterman, downloaded a bunch of drivers, the voodoo 3 2000 drivers did the trick, thanks for the help everyone :)
