Im using an old computer with a socketed bios, that has been proven to work at flashing homebrew chips, I'm using uniflash and the evox2.2 bios..., i boot up the computer into dos mode, pull out the normal bios, insert the blank one... and then run uniflash off the disk.... then try to write the evox bios off the disk onto the bios chip.. and it just doesn't do anything.. sometimes i get "Errror during Verification" but other than that.. nothing.... anyone have any clue?

I have read that even with the error durning verification warning the chip should still work. Not sure though. Try installing it and see. You are going to put a socket in right, thats the best way to go then you can update later without soldering.
