When i look a properties on My Computer, then device manager
Two things are sticking out.
the first 1 is : pci coomunications device, and the other is : PCI multimedia audio device.
Does any 1 know what theese are ??
I have just formatted my h/d and it has appeared

I guess you need to install the drivers for your modem and video cards.

Go to your system in control panel, device man again and remove both
reboot your system windows should detect and load them from your disk or you will have to get the drivers and install em like the previous answer said.

I guess that Van wanted to say " ... modem and audio cards ... " ;)

Just goto Device Manager, choose properties for both devices and press "Update driver". You don't need to remove them and let Windows to re-detect ....

PCI multimedia audio device is definately an onboard sound card. Go to www.VIAhardware.com and download the drivers from there.
