i never used to get this problem?

done that already - still not working - even does it in powerdvd, used to work fine, done nothing special since

Try disabling active desktop if that still doesn't work check what you have running in task manager maybe another app is using the overlay

WHAT ELSE COULD BE USING IT? THE LIST IS ENDLESS IN TASK MANAGER?
