But I can get a perfect copy if I read it with my Lite-on Dvd rom drive. I'm totally confused. There hasn't been a single game out there that I have had a problem backing up with my 24102b, untill this game came along.

I tried every setting possible and also tried with the latest version of clone cd. I kept getting the error message that the game was corrupt or incomplete, and to try downloading it again. (downloading??)

Anyways, I had all but given up and I figured I would try to read it with my dvd rom drive, also a liteon. It came out perfect!!!!

Anyone know why??

actually, i have the same burning and have the SAME problem as you with WC3 AND Neverwinter Nights...

both new Securom games...

maybe it's an issue with the Liteon and reading the subchannel data from the new securom format?

It's very strange seeing as my Liteon LTD 163 dvd rom drive can make a successful (no firmware upgrades) copy.

By the way, it will only play in the dvd rom drive and not the burner, similar to sd2 protected games.

Securom had an ATIP check well before SD2 did.

I have heard that Securom has been updated (New Securm New*) so that certain burners can not read it properly. Also there is some kind of Hide CDR bug and it should be disabled when reading.
