I'm told that I can get a firmware upgrade for my Pioneer AO3 so that I can burn Datasafe, Whitelabel and the like DVDs at two times speed. Does anyone know where and how?
Cheers chaps:idea:

I have contacted Pioneer and been politely told to do one.... grandmaster_b Aug 02, 2002, 09:23 AM Firmware won't solve this m8, datasafe have just released a 2x compatible DVDR which is to be honest crap ! White Label and most others are restricted to 1x and updating firmware will not solve that as its to do with the DVDR code present on the DVDR itself. Stick with firmware 1.68 I am om 1.80 and having no problems but I hear that lots of people have issuses with 1.80. |
