I followed the step at http://www.dvd2dvdr.com/ butno joy . My settings would be PAL not NTSC also there was no sound even though I renamed them both as stipulated in the guide but i'll try and work that one out just need help with the first thing plz...

Rolf Jul 19, 2002, 11:58 AM Did you restart SpruceUp after you changed it from NTSC to PAL (or at least, started a new project)?
Rolf.
busterboy Jul 19, 2002, 01:21 PM To be honest I have had this same problem, If I write a PAL movie it works ok, Then If I import a NTSF movie for my next project it tells me about the mismatch, If I import it for a second time it works fine. And yes I do go in to preferences and check the correct video format.. All very bizzare..
.S.O.N.Y.0.0.7. Jul 19, 2002, 04:14 PM does it matter if it's not a original dvd but looks like one, and should'nt that mean it region free, I heard these types of dvd's are easier to do.....so I thought i'd try one out to get use to it, great start i'm having...:-(((
gadgerman Jul 19, 2002, 07:21 PM It's not the region code but the TV std that it's playing back in ? if it's Pal then start up and change preferences to PAL then start new if it's NTSC the change it and start new (the change doesn't take place till you start new )
.S.O.N.Y.0.0.7. Jul 20, 2002, 08:06 AM I've done that and keep getting the same thing " PAL/NTSC video format mismatch with project settings" I used smartripper to rip the video and audio, changed the audio and movie filename so "hollowman.AC3" & hollowman.M2V. My file was smaller than 4gigs so I moved to "Spruceup" decided not to author it as I just want to get the movie on disc. Went to file >perference and changed NTSC to PAL and the media devive indicator to DVD-R/RW 4.7GIG. Now I clicked on the movie tab then right click in the box..ADD MEDIA ASSET came up and I put in my M2V file, did'nt want any chapters so I drag the file to the menu window then I clicked the EXPORT TAB and changed the output to in the top box to "title set" then I click write and I just keep getting " PAL/NTSC video format mismatch with project settings" and thats more or less it so what i'm I doing wrong why it won't work for me?.........
.S.O.N.Y.0.0.7. Jul 20, 2002, 06:08 PM I've finally got the above problem sorted I think but now I now I need to be able to save the movie using Spruceup as an Global image or a Disk image so I can record to a blank dvd'r using Prassi, but I can only save it to my h/d by selecting Title Set which is the only option I seem to have to save to my h/d does'nt seem copatible with Prassi primoDVD, can anyone help on this part?
u.s Jul 21, 2002, 03:23 AM What if you go into your c:/spruceup working directory/video_ts folder (or something like that), that's where the title set is created by default, and delete the .LAY file ?
Don't know if it'll help, but worth a try.
