When I checked after updating it with the newest driver, it said my card was a SBLive! Value card???
The other driver said it was regular SB Live!

Why is that?

I think the SB Value, live and 5.1 are all the same, the papers for my PC says SB Live Value, but it detects as a 5.1. By the way, did you hear crackling
before you updated the drivers, did the new drivers fix this?

crackling? I didn't hear any, but...I'm sure it's a sblive!
But I know SBLive! Value cant use the Live!Drive, and mine does.
But I try to keep my computer updated, that's why I always update everything.
