Hi,
yesterday i formated my 8 gig HD and forgot to back-up some important files , ive only got windows back on the HD is there any way i can recover these files ?
List all my options here !
Im in big trouble if i cant get em back :(

No, once you have formatted your maching, all data is LOST!

i am indeed in trouble ,
it was all my bros video editing files and Poser documents , about a gigs worth.
oh well , now to break the news !

Well you really needed to leave that hard drive alone and having installed windows on another drive/partition use a drive recovery program .
You might be able to get something back using Drive rescue , but its doubtful.. but you might as well try , its freeware..

Or Try Finaldata www.finaldata.com, formatting doesnt destroy any data, its only lost when its overwritten, unless windows has overwritten where your important data was you should be able to get it back
