What's the differences between posting a request on the board and in the request folder? And the differences between posting links to backup games in the iso folder and on the board? The reason I ask this is because posting request is abviously not allowed, but it's allowed in the request folder. It doesn't make sense. Thanks for reading....

There is no request or ISO folder in this forum. However the point of not allowing requests in the forums and only in the request folder is to keep the board from filling up with requests. This is a help board and not a request board.

Yes but ps2 games are a little tougher to back up and most games are on dvd which means you need a dvd burner which not many people have so they rip things out of the games and make isos out of them. Sort of like what they did with the dreamcast games. That is why theres and iso folder over there and not here because you dont need to do none of thats stuff in order to copy psx and pc games.

As Celtic said it's done to keep things organized. Since these forums are primarily for help we try to keep all of the requests and links in "folders" so that people don't have to sort through 5000 requests to get some help.

Closing this since this is way off topic for this forum and doesn't require anymore discussion.
