I have EvoX installed and can play DVDs fine with it installed, just one question though.... could you use the gamepad in menus during film playback or has evoX stopped me from being able to do this? Fair enough I have the remote control but I thought you could use the gamepad as well? Could someone who doesn't have EvoX installed tell me if they can control movies from JUST the gampad or is it just me?!?!?!?

No, u have to use the remote to access the dvd menu's.

That sucks, I often lose controlles and if I do I cant access dvd movies even if I have the eye installed? Thats poor microsoft, and when the batteries run out its usless till I find new ones... damn you, I liked it where you could use the controllers on the ps2

man, stop whioning, batteries are so cheap, ps2 has 2 controleers, they get u to buy a multi tap, xbox has 4 controllers but needs a remote!

Katz, shut the hell up! Batteries are cheap yes, but a new controller and reciever isn't!!! I have paid a good £30 and I dont really fancy shelling out another 30 just to replace a damaged or lost controller, I think most people will agree with me :D
