I have an unmodded xbox and i have only had it for 2 months now and some times when im playing a game it will just up and freeze...................could this just be microsoft problems or is it just my xbox?..............and if so could you explain to me why its happening and how to fix it?

I have been on this forum for quite a bit of time now and have never seen a post with the problem you are having, you will more than likely get answers like its your laser e.t.c.

My advice would be to take it back to were you got it from and get a new one, better safe than sorry.

That should not happen at all, bet your glad you never modded it, you would have been in trouble then :eek:

I think im still in trouble though, i never paid for an extended warrenty, so as far as i know here in canada i only have 10 days to return to store or 90 days to send it to MS and get it fixed, after that im up shits creep without a paddle...............or a donut.

this could be overheat.

There was a post on another forum , they say that if you remove the ethernet cable you should be fine, this was confirmed by loads of people .

I dont have the ethernet cable..................i called microsoft and asked for help, but i had to register with them first, they said to delete my harddrive and unplug it and let it stand for about 30 minutes to an hour then try it again, i realised after looking through my save games and saved music that i have 49 thousand blocks of info saved so i deleted some of it and it seems to be running fine but the freeze thing hasent happend YET....but we shall see.
