Trying to install an enigmah and a very small bit of the track where wire 4 connects to on the xbox motherboard has come off along with the pre-soldered pad.
Anyone have any ideas on how to salvage this?
Tried soldering the wire on but without the pad it won't stick.
Thanks for any help.

Follow the track to a place where it isn't pulled off and scrape a little bit of the green top layer off until you can see copper. Clean it, then flux it so the solder will stick. Then add solder to the track, flux the wire, then solder it to the track.

Thanks for the excellent reply, will try it out!
My main concern is where the soldered pad was as it probabily linked to somthing on the other side. While its not there the wire from the mod-chip has no-where to grip. However I'll try the method you described and then maybe it will work. :)

If you can't get it to work and want to part out your XBox, I'd be interested in the DVDROM drive.

I doubt there is somthing connecting to the other side, but if there is, you could make a link wire that would connect further down the track to the original point, then solder the modchip wire a little further down. Hope this helps
