hi. i just downloaded the atari emulator from the iso folder. i unrared it, and burned the iso as an image file. i used nero, burned in data mode 1. i used a cd-rw. am i supposed to burn only the iso? that is what i did. it won't load up on my box. it brings up the 'xbox cannot recognize this disc' screen. any ideas? thanks.

yeah, that linked helped a lot. it was all in the buring. i used stomp recordnow max 4.1 to burn, DAO and UDF with joilet - up to 106 in length, any char, plus 8+3 bridge. after doing this it was no problem. thanks.

oh, and just in case anyone else has the problem i had remember to not make the files into a iso. burn as is. the default.xbe file, and the media and roms folders.

now maybe this is a dumb question...but just out of curiosity, can you use xblauncher for emulators as well? disregarding how much size the files would be, could u theoretically put game selector on a cd or dvd for emulators and roms? i don't even have enough roms to fill up a cd-rw yet, but i was interested in putting for instance an snes emulator, mame emulator, and atari emulator on the same cd. now that i think of it, would there be a file/directory conflict? thanks.

I keep meaning to try this but never get round to it, there would not be a directory conflict as all the roms would probably into one roms folder, there also should not be a file conflict as the different roms have different file extensions and i think (not sure) the emulators look for that particular file extension and ignore all others.

I may give it a try tonight with a CDRW, will post my results back here

I have already tried this and it works. well, not exactly. I used xSNES and MAME in one cd and whatever emulator you load up using gameseclector, all the roms for both emulator loads up on the screen. you only have to remember which game is for which system then select to play otherwise if you choose the wrong game from the menu it frezes.

Thanks for the info. You could add something like (SNES) before the rom name to the snes files, that way they would all be in a list next to each other and you would know what emulator they are for. I have no idea if a rom works or not if the file name is changed, anyone else care to comment?

Is this a good or a bad idea? I dont know :D
