Greetings, Fellow CDROM-Guide
members:
Would anyone like to contribute
to building a comprehensive
thread for Link Gaming for Xbox
& PS2? If so, please feel free
to share any & all experiences
you have had with this; i.e.;
Pros & Cons
Compatible Games
Best Cables to use
I'll kick it off by saying, as
of yet, I have not had the
opportunity to try this, but
that will change soon as my
cables are on the way.
Xbox has a cable called "System
Link" (ethernet Crossover);
they are 15 to 28 feet long;
sounds great for Lan parties!
PS2 has a cable that is 10?
foot called "i.Link" (1394 Fire
Wire).
This has to be the Ultimate in
console gaming.
Can you imagine fragging in
Halo with no lag time? or
racing with your buddy in Grand
Turismo full screen!
Can't wait to hear you guys'
experiences--good and bad.
That is, if there is any down
side to console link gaming.
