I just wanted to know if the neo 2.5 and the neo 2.6 were the same chip or not. The reason why i'm asking is because i still have my old neo 2.5 from my old v4 ps2...and now i have a v5/v6 ps2 and if these two are the same chip then i might be able to use it in my new ps2....that is if it's a v5 and not a v6 ps2 system.

Every picture is see of the neo 2.6 looks exactly like the neo 2.5 that i bought a while back. Can someone please get back with me on this one please...thanks

neo 2.5 is normal while 2.6 automatically start the game once ya swaped the discs, it helps you from hitting x to start the game.

and the booting procedure for the neo 2.6 is a lil different, its just in a different order.

crap! Now i have to buy a new one.
